Thesis: Implicit Theories: How Conceptions of Personality Affect Resilience, Benevolence, and Self-Compassion
Students with a growth mindset have been found to be more engaged with challenging school work, achieve higher results, and display more pro-social behaviour. The purpose of this thesis will be to explore how implicit theories of personality operate beyond the classroom and affect resilience, benevolence, self–compassion and, ultimately, health outcomes.
