Dr Chantelle Day is the Research Partnerships Manager at the Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education. Chantelle leads the development and management of the Institute’s research partnerships strategy, aimed at supporting the growth and achievement of the Institute’s research plan. Her responsibilities include building and extending ILSTE’s partnership opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Institute’s areas of research concentration, and raising the Institute’s research profile as an international leader in teacher education reform. A significant priority within her portfolio of work includes management of the Institute’s largest, longitudinal research project titled the Graduate Teacher Performance Assessment (GTPA): Standards and Moderation Project (www.graduatetpa.com).
Chantelle has experience in managing and supporting research projects involving various stakeholders and collaborations and has worked at the Institute in various research capacities since the completion of her doctoral studies in 2017. While a main focus of her research to date has been the student experiences of young adult carers, her knowledge and expertise extends to the fields of inclusive education, student engagement, assessment and teacher education.
