Location: ACU Melbourne Campus

I have a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Bryn Mawr College, a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and PhD in History from the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining ACU as Associate Research Fellow in January 2020, I worked with native title land rights in Victoria, legal aid in Boston, and HIV/AIDS research in Nigeria.

My research interests include the use of oral history for capacity building community-based histories about refugee children, elders, and stateless populations. I am keenly interested in the use of social media for historical research, and storytelling for individual and community advocacy. My interdisciplinary projects involve live storytelling and game design to teach about migrant histories and modern slavery to cultivate historical empathy.
