Dr Stefano Di Domenico


Dr Stefano Di Domenico is a postdoctoral research assistant funded by the Social Sciences Research and Humanities Council of Canada. Working with Professor Richard M Ryan, his research examines the nature of the self, the psychological needs that sustain its development, and the motivational and neural processes that express its functioning. His research encompasses a variety of individual difference constructs and methodological approaches, including functional near-infrared spectroscopy, an emerging neuroimaging technology with great promise for the field of social and personality psychology. Stefano has published his work in journals such as the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, NeuroImage, Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, and Learning and Individual Differences.
