The MBA (Executive) is a generalist management degree designed for experienced managers. The program is multidisciplinary in nature and provides a strategic overview of the key concepts, models and current trends in the core management disciplines including accounting, finance, governance and organisational behaviour. The program allows students to either expand their general knowledge of management practices by undertaking four general management electives or specialise in either an industry (for example - health) or a discipline (for example - finance) via the use of specialist electives.
The Master of Business Administration (Executive) is designed to accommodate professionals who may need to balance the competing pressures of family, work and lifestyle. The course is offered in intensive mode, with each unit delivered over two weekends. The degree is generalist in focus, with units covering the managing of money, people, knowledge, markets and strategy.
The MBA (Executive) includes 6 mandatory units, a selection of 2 specified units, and 4 elective units.
A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Executive) or the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Executive) may exit from the course with the relevant award by arrangement with the Course Coordinator.
Special teaching arrangements can be made for corporate clients who sponsor cohorts.
