Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) Management provides students with advanced technical competencies in OHSE theory and practice. The course comprises eight units that will prepare you for a professional-level position in OHSE. The Graduate Diploma in OHSEM is a pathway program to the Master of OHSEM, and is an accredited course that provides students with the educational requirements to seek certification as an OHS Professional. The Graduate Diploma is available as an exit award from the Master of OHSEM.

Course structure
To complete the Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management, a student must complete 80 credit points (cp).

A student who has completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management may exit from the course with that award.
Entry requirements
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
a. Bachelor degree in a related discipline; or
b. Bachelor degree in a different discipline and evidence of two years industry experience; or
c. Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management or a related award.
