Put your legal skills into practice, make a real contribution, and travel the world with a range of exciting student experiences at the Thomas More Law School.

Pro bono placements

Every undergraduate Law student at the Thomas More Law School undertakes a pro bono placement as part of their degree.

Through these placements Thomas More Law students have contributed many thousands of hours to the legal profession and to the community, representing the interests of those who might not otherwise have access to justice.

Pro bono service provides students with an unrivalled opportunity to experience and reflect upon the operation of the law in a practice setting and its benefits and challenges for those who are marginalised or disadvantaged in our community.

International study

ACU has a campus in Rome and more than 80 international study partners throughout the world. Why not study abroad for a semester, take a unit in Rome, or seek an international pro bono placement?

“ACU has a marvellous mooting culture. A moot is a mock appeal. Akin to something that you would see in an Appeals Court. I have had the opportunity to represent ACU at external moots, competing against some of the biggest, and oldest universities in the country.”
James Penny
Bachelor of Laws graduate
