While Allianz’s offices located on campuses have temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, they will continue to provide assistance with your Overseas Student Health Cover online and by phone.

To find a doctor, make a claim or update your personal policy or information, visit the Allianz website. To change or extend your policy, or for general enquiries, please call 13 67 42 or email oshc@allianz-assistance.com.au. To speak with a doctor, the Telehealth Service called Allianz Global Assistance continues to operate.

If you are not covered by Allianz and have Overseas Student Health Cover with another provider, please contact them for information on how to access your OSHC.

In partnership with the University’s preferred insurance provider Allianz Global Assistance, all international students who have purchased the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy with Allianz on or after 1stApril 2019, are eligible to access Sonder, a health and wellbeing app. This is an on-demand safety and wellbeing app that offers:

  • multilingual support, available 24/7 via Sonder’s in-app chat or by phone when you need someone to talk to
  • specialised and practical COVID-19 support if you are quarantined or self-isolating, including delivery of essential supplies and daily welfare checks
  • reliable, accurateinformation and up-to-date safety tips.

To activate, download the app and create a new account using the email address from your OSHC policy.
