'Neglected texts' workshop and book launch

Neglected texts examined at the Institute

On Monday and Tuesday 25-26 June the Program in Biblical and Early Christian Studies in the IRCI will be hosting a two-day workshop around the theme of ‘Neglected Texts.’ Twelve researchers from ACU and elsewhere have each chosen a ‘neglected text’ they are currently working on, and will lead a discussion with the participants on the questions their particular text raises.

The emphasis will be upon close readings of primary sources together as a group. The workshop will also include a book launch and review panel of Connecting Gospels, a collection of papers edited by Francis Watson and Sarah Parkhouse that has just been published by Oxford University Press. The event is open for all to attend but an RSVP is required.
