All prayer requests submitted through this portal will be given to the Campus Ministry Team (CMT) and will be reviewed by one or more members of the CMT. Please keep in mind that we are not qualified medical or psychological practitioners. Thus, whilst we can offer pastoral care we cannot offer psychological or other medical care.
There are members of the CMT who are not Priests. As such, these prayer requests are not protected by the ‘seal of confession’. It is important that you do not include confidential or sensitive personal information through this site. If you require pastoral care in relation to sensitive issues please call one of the CMT members directly and they will organise this for you. If your prayer request contains information which indicates that either you or another has or might breach the law, commit academic dishonesty, breach an employment duty, or breach or offend any ACU policy, procedure or guideline, we might escalate this information to Human Resources, the Office of General Counsel, or another internal or external body as appropriate.
