The Faculty of Law and Business has established two annual awards to recognise and reward the outstanding efforts and learning and teaching innovations of our academic staff. The awards recognise their efforts in continually enhancing the student learning and teaching experience.

The Excellence in Teaching Award recognises overall teaching excellence. It exists to encourage and reward high quality teaching by members of the academic staff across all modes: online, multi-mode or blended, and face-to-face.

The Learning Innovations Award commends a specific contemporary practice or innovation, or example of excellent practice in learning and teaching that has been successfully implemented and critically evaluated within the past three years.

Eligible staff are ongoing full-time and part-time academic staff who have made a significant and sustained contribution to student learning. This contribution should align with the distinctive mission, values and strategies of ACU, and reference must be made to these as well as to relevant plans of the Faculty and the university in the application.
