Our teaching and research is focused on real-world experience that leads to a real-world impact. At the Faculty of Health Sciences, we partner with community and industry groups to produce graduates that are job-ready – and innovative, world-leading research.
Theory and practice go hand in hand. Our students learn in the classroom and through simulation-based learning, gaining insight into the most current techniques, theories and trends. They then apply these learnings through professional placements and community engagement.
Hands-on workplace experience is a central component of our degrees. During their studies, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in clinical placements with some of our 3000 health care partners.
As well as gaining experience in partner clinics, you’ll be able to practice in on-campus health and psychology clinics under the supervision of expert practitioners. Our clinics are open to students, staff and the general public.
Our students engage with community groups around the world to gain valuable international experience. You’ll be able to study in Rome or take part in a study tour in Asia or the Pacific, living, studying and working with locals.
