Founded in 2018, Try Time is a sport for development program that operates in Brisbane’s bayside area. Try Time involves a Touch Football tournament running for 8 weeks in school term 2 and includes youth from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Try Time partners with Multicultural Development Australia (MDA), Brisbane Bayside Stage College, and Wynnum State High School to also offer educational opportunities related to networking and personal brand, job seeking and keeping, and communication and problem-solving skills. In 2018, Try Time ran for the first time with the support of a grant from the Brisbane City Council. There were 35 graduates from the program with outcomes including a substantial drop in behavioural referrals and students experiencing a greater connection to school staff. Several students have since gained their first casual job.
