The Sacred Heart Homework Club is a flagship community engagement project based out of the Melbourne campus.

We are looking for volunteers to:

  • Assisting with overseeing the delivery of ACU’s Homework Club
  • Assisting ACU student volunteer tutors with education support and behaviour management strategies
  • Briefing and debriefing tutors before and after the session
  • Recording weekly attendance of children and volunteers at Homework Club
  • Coordinating set-up and pack up of each session, including dismissing students and tutors, and giving out weekly awards

Staff do not need to be from the field of education but should have an interest in working with children from diverse communities and be comfortable in a classroom setting.
