Program description

CCC is run by 3 staff and approximately 70 volunteers. We provide access to affordable essential items, as well as a place of social connectedness. Around 300 households visit our centre each week, with approximately 1200 households registering to use our services each year.

Our main services include:

  • HandUp Food Pantry
  • Re-Runs Op Shop
  • Tech Shed – computer recycling, refurbishment and repair
  • Harvest Garden & Kitchen – growing fresh produce and using it to prepare low cost meals
  • Redeemers – sewing group

Position description

Various volunteer opportunities are available:

  • Van driver for food rescue
  • Shop assistant in food pantry or op shop
  • Reception (data entry, phone enquiries and customer service)
  • Gardening
  • IT recycling or refurbishment

Call or email to express an interest in volunteering.

You will be asked to provide a name, email address and phone number, and will then be sent out a welcome letter with instructions on the induction process.
