Help support the education of school students experiencing disadvantage by donating school supplies during Lent.

From an early age children who experience disadvantage often don’t get the same access to learning materials as their peers. This can have potentially lifelong impacts on a child’s life and contribute to the cycle of poverty. You can help by donating new and good condition school supplies to be given to our domestic and international partners supporting communities in need, including those affected by the recent bushfire crisis.

When

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are postponing collections for the Learning for Lent donation appeal.

Thank you to all who have already donated and rest assured your donations will make their way to our community partners at an appropriate time. We hope to continue this appeal again sometime this year when we can give our full attention and support. We will keep you updated as information arises.

Items collected at Ballarat campus will be donated to Saint Ignatious School, Uganda.

Kagongero is a small Ugandan village facing significant poverty and disadvantage. The village is home to Saint Ignatious, a modest school with limited facilities, yet filled with students who value education and the opportunities it can bring for themselves and their community. Your donations will directly support the education of these students and help provide the first steppingstones to empower the community to break the cycle of poverty.
