In line with the current ACU Strategic Plan 2020-2023, the priority of the Research and Enterprise Plan is to achieve sustainable excellence in the development of future research capability, effective infrastructure and systems, fundamental research, the translation of research, and the application of research.
The ACU Global Strategy provides strategic direction on how ACU will advance its mission, profile and connection as a globally engaged university. Directly aligning to the ACU Strategic Plan 2023, success factors include advancement in global rankings, growth in ACU’s international community through international enrolments, partnerships and global experience.
The ACU Capability Development Framework (CDF) describes the essential competencies that are needed in all ACU staff to achieve our strategy and support our mission. It enables a whole-of-organisation approach to developing and strengthening capability, and it is part of the ongoing investment by the University in the professional development of our staff.
The Service Excellence Framework has been developed to outline the key objectives and elements to deliver the best possible service at ACU, today and into the future.
The Enrolment Planning Framework is as a key management tool for the planning of the University’s future student load aligned with ACU Strategic Plan and the Federal Government policy direction. It reflects the anticipated demand or shift in demand and growth of courses that are to be offered or withdrawn over a six-year period. It provides planned growth for each course at each campus and by funding source.
The Academic Performance Matrices and Evidence (APME) Framework describes the performance expectations by academic level for each Academic Career Pathway (ACP) that will guide academic staff contribution to achieve our strategy and support our Mission.
The ACU Teaching Criteria and Standards Framework provides teachers and their supervisors with clear, objective and consistent criteria that will enable their pursuit of excellence in teaching. The application of these criteria to teaching practice will occur within the context of the Catholic intellectual tradition and with a commitment to the pursuit of knowledge, the dignity of the human person and the common good.
