This unit is particularly suited for those working in educational, health and welfare contexts which are founded and animated by the charism of a religious congregation. Students will undertake a critical study of the charism of a specific religious congregation in the context of Catholic theological tradition, as well as examining the history of the congregation, with a special emphasis on the founder. The unit gives students the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of a specific charism in the contemporary context.
