Teaching Organisation: 3 contact hours per week over 12 weeks or equivalent

This unit will introduce students to psychology through a study of both the history and the current organisation of the discipline. Topics will include the history and philosophy of psychology; research methodology; biological bases of behaviour, sensation and perception, lifespan development, learning and memory, and language and thought.
