This foundation occupational therapy theory focuses on the effects of illness, trauma and disease and how these events can impact on an individual’s occupational function. Common clinical orthopaedic, neurological and general medical disorders with regard to aetiology, pathology and manifestations relevant to the occupational therapist will be examined.
