MKTG301 International Marketing

Prerequisites MKTG100 Principles of Marketing and ECON104 Business Economics
Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for twelve weeks or equivalent.

This unit introduces students to the basic theories, concepts and practices which have been developed in the current globalised marketplace. The major focus is directed towards the discipline of marketing, its relevance and application within the international marketplace. The course is structured around the exchange process (ie economics and marketing) in order to develop within the student an appreciation of marketings broader societal role and how it is influenced by environmental forces within the global marketplace.
