Teaching Organisation 2 hours per week for twelve weeks or equivalent. The unit may be offered on campus and online.

This unit focuses on the portraits of Jesus in the New Testament and explores the development of Christology in the early Christian communities. Students will study aspects of the modern quest for the historical Jesus and will explore the person and teachings of Jesus in the Jewish context of first century Palestine.
