THEO602 Biblical Narrative as Theology

Teaching Organisation 2 hours per week for twelve weeks or equivalent. The unit may be offered on-campus and online.

This unit explores the implications for Christian theology of the narrative form of scripture. Students read a significant section of biblical narrative adopting a critical approach. On the basis of this reading, students reflect critically on their theological thinking in issues raised in reading the biblical narrative. The relation of narrative as theology to other theologies and to other approaches to the biblical text is studied.
