Teaching Organisation This unit is equivalent to 150 hours of focussed learning. These may include lectures, seminars and workshops, and mixed modes.

This unit builds on students understanding of preaching and subsequent experience and assists them to develop their ministry of preaching the living Word of God. It aims to extend students knowledge and understanding of contemporary scholarship on preaching, as well as developing their practice of preaching by paying explicit attention to the trio of assembly, text and preacher, through which the living Word of God shapes the faith community and its response to Gods grace, both individually and corporately.
