SWTP608 Community Participation Practice

Teaching Organisation Students will participate in the equivalent of 24 hours class time in a semester in a range of face-to-face and flexible-delivery approaches.
The aim of this unit is to engage students in a critical examination of mental health policies and institutions. It will give students the essential context for understanding the development of mental health policies in Australia and internationally. Students will become familiar with the issues surrounding mental health and illness from both historical and contemporary perspectives.
