SWTP315 Correctional Practice

Teaching Organisation 3 contact hours per week for twelve weeks or equivalent of workshops, lectures and tutorials.

This unit develops a framework and builds skills for correctional practice. It focuses on working with inmates and those whose behaviours are problematic for correctional institutions. It will address the key issues of developing positive relationships, working within a team environment, managing challenging behaviours, implementing case plans and examining best practice in corrections.
