MUSC158 Practical Study 2

Prerequisites MUSC157 Practical Study 1
Teaching Organisation 40-minute individual lesson, with allocated Practical Study teacher, per week for 12 weeks or equivalent, 2-hour Performance Practice Class for 8 weeks. For vocal students a Language Class for 3 weeks and for keyboard players, Keyboard Musicianship and Accompaniment Class for 3 weeks. Weekly 1-hour workshop in the ancillary practical study. Attendance at three campus based Lunch Hour Concerts.

A foundation study in music performance, to be taken in the same voice/keyboard instrument as studied in Practical Study 1. Ancillary practical study: introductory keyboard training (for vocal students) or vocal training (for keyboard students) to a standard equivalent to AMEB Grade 4.
