ITAL103 Italian V2

Prerequisites ITAL102 Italian V1 or equivalent
Teaching Organisation 3 hours per week for twelve weeks or equivalent of lectures and workshops. In workshops students complete a range of language activities.

This unit is designed to increase the students knowledge and use of grammatical features, to expand their level of competence in conversational Italian, both in prepared and unprepared contexts, and to focus on the linguistically and culturally accurate writing in Italian. The formal aspects of grammar will be linked to the use of authentic texts drawn from the printed and audio-visual media, as well as mediated from selected works of classical Italian writers.
