HLSC613 Preparing for Research in Health Sciences

Teaching Organisation 150 hours of focused learning.

This unit focuses on the techniques and rigour involved in developing a research proposal. It will extend and enhance the research skills whereby students will develop a clear and cogent argument about the need for, and feasibility of, the research project they are proposing. Research design and statistical techniques will be presented and argued through a peer review process in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The research proposal will also form the basis for the Human Research Ethics Committee application.
