ENGL225 Aspects of Literary Theory

Prerequisites Literature major/minor: 20 cp from 200-level units in Literature
Teaching Organisation A range of teaching procedures including lectures, tutorials, and screenings will be used.

This unit is designed to introduce students to some of the major concepts of literary theory of the twentieth century. It will examine the work of some of the key figures and schools of thought, demonstrating how these ideas relate to literary texts.
