Teaching Organisation A range of teaching procedures including lectures, tutorials and screenings will be used.

This unit offers a study of major works in the historical, political and social contexts of the twentieth century. Emphasis will be on the study of both traditional and experimental forms, including the major developments of modernism and postmodernism. Texts will be examined and discussed in the light of appropriate twentieth century theoretical writings.
