Eligibility

Both Current Year 12 and non school leavers are welcome to apply for entry to ACU through the Early Achievers’ Program. To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

If you’re a Year 12 student you must:

  • be currently completing Year 12 studies in Australia
  • be able to demonstrate yourinvolvement in a community/cultural organization, school, church or local sporting group as a volunteer. Work experience, part time work or compulsory school activities are not considered as community involvement for EAP and should not be included in your application.
  • include the ACU course selected on your EAP application as your highest eligible preference when applying for admission through QTAC, UAC or VTAC
  • satisfy any prerequisite requirements for your selected course (browse Courses to view prerequisites).

If you’re a non school leaver you must:

  • not be currently enrolled in Year 12
  • be able to demonstrate involvement in a community/cultural organisation, church or local sporting group as a volunteer. Work experience, part time work or compulsory school activities are not considered as community experience for EAP and should not be included in your application.
  • include the ACU course selected on your EAP application as your highest eligible preference when applying for admission through QTAC, UAC or VTAC
  • satisfy any prerequisite requirements for your selected course (browse Courses to view prerequisites).

International students

International students currently completing Year 12 studies in Australia and who apply to ACU through QTAC, UAC or VTAC may apply for EAP under the criteria outlined for Year 12 students, as above.
