How the Career Development Service can help you
We offer students individual appointments with careers advisers. This can help you to gain information and support to help you make informed career decisions.
We also provide group workshops, seminars, print, web-based and multi-modal career and employment related resources.
This is a free service for all enrolled students.
A careers adviser can help:
- encourage you to take personal responsibility for making informed career decisions
- facilitate the development of skills
- enable you to successfully undertake the life-long process of managing your career.
We also provide information and support for students in a range of career related areas including:
- researching the graduate job market
- finding part-time work
- career decision making and planning
- resume preparation
- interview preparation
- identifying employability skills.
