Student eLearning tutorial
You are encouraged to do the Student eLearning Tutorial available within Blackboard. You can get to the tutorial via the Blackboard Login button but first download this this Getting_Started_-_Student (PDF, 353kb). It will assist you to login to Blackboard and get started in the tutorial.
The tutorial contains the following modules:- Quick module – the essentials for students who need to get online quickly. If you are studying face-to-face with online units to support your learning, this module may be all you need.
- Learning to use Blackboard – this module teaches you how to use all the common tools in Blackboard. You can choose to learn about only the tools you need.
- Managing your online learning – this module will help you with developing skills such as time management, being organised and using the library. It also shows you how to get help with academic skills and accessibility problems.
- Interacting online – this module looks in detail at online learning activities and the benefits of interacting when you are an online student.
- Assessment – this module covers the fundamentals of assessment and some specific issues to do with online assessment.
