Study modes at ACU National
ACU National has been delivering courses online since 2000. Faculties decide which courses to offer in fully online mode. Most other courses will have a web-enhanced presence on the Learning Management System (LMS) to supplement face-to-face teaching. This LMS is currently Blackboard. Academic staff and students can attain a greater level of flexibility and interactivity by being able to access their online course materials and learning activities at any time, from any location via the Internet.
ACU currently offers many fully online courses and units each semester.
Whether you are teaching a fully online unit or a web-enhanced unit there is a template to ensure consistency and quality of materials. Training for online teaching is available via workshops conducted by the Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC) and 24/7 through a Staff eLearning tutorial
