Getting started online
ACU provides a range of sources of support to help you get started in teaching online.
The Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC) offers regular on-campus workshops each semester and an online Staff eLearning tutorial. There are also Faculty eLearning Coordinators and Online Educational Designers to assist you on an individual basis. See Training & tutorial
Before starting the online Staff eLearning Tutorial, download this document Getting_Started_-_Staff (PDF, 379kb). This document is a step by step guide to help you:
- check your computer system requirements
- locate your log on details
- use the eLearning Staff Portal to create a Blackboard playground to practise in
- log on to Blackboard and find your way around.
When you are ready, login to Blackboard and access the Staff eLearning Tutorial.
