Financial Assistance
There are a variety of financial assistance programs available to assist you in your endeavour to study overseas.
University Grant
Students in the middle years of their degree who qualify to go on exchange are eligible to receive a grant of up to $2500 towards their airfare. Once students have been accepted by their exchange or study abroad institution, students will be required to submit a bank details form (pdf) to have the grant transferred.
OS-HELP Loan
This government loan is available to outgoing exchange and study abroad students who must return to complete at least one full-time semester of study to complete their degree. A total of two loans are available, up to $5410 each, per eligible student.
Please read the ACUOS-HELP Guidelines (PDF, 38kb) for information on how to apply. Once students have been accepted by their exchange or study abroad institution, they are required to submit a bank details form (PDF, 40kb) to have the grant processed.
