Registration to AUG has now closed
Australian University Sport is proud to announce that the Gold Coast will host the 2009 Australian University Games. The event will showcase some of Australia's best sporting venues and provide students with an unforgettable social program to compliment sporting schedules.
The 2009 Australian University Games will be held from 27 September - 2 October with 28 sports contested. Participants will compete in: Athletics, Australian Rules Football, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Cycling, Fencing, Football, Golf, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kendo, Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby Union 7's, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Touch, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball and Water Polo.
Travel to AUG 2009
If you are arriving from interstate and organising flights, please arrive before 12pm on Sunday 27 September and depart anytime on Saturday 3 September. The team function will be held on the Gold Coast and commence at 1pm on Sunday 27 September.
ACU Sportswear
The Australian University Games is open to all students at ACU
- To express an interest or to find out more about the AUGs please contact your local Sport and Recreation convenor.
- We encourage all students to attend the University Games as an athlete, manager, supporter, coach or trainer.
- To secure your place in the ACU, Australian University Games Team for 2009 you will need to complete the registration form asap as places are limited.
