Graduate Association Launch – 14 December 2007

The University launched the Hong Kong Chapter of the Graduate Association on 14 December 2007 in Hong Kong. Staff and graduates from Caritas Francis Hsu College joined with visiting staff from Australian Catholic University to celebrate the launch.

The following day, 15 Dec 2007, the University celebrated the graduation of 36 students from Caritas Francis Hsu College in Hong Kong. The Chancellor, Br Julian McDonald, presided over the ceremony and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gabrielle McMullen delivered the Occasional Address. Rev Ming-Cheung (Michael) Yeung also addressed the graduates.

Of great significance was the graduation of the 1000th Australian Catholic University graduate in Hong Kong. Lo Kai Cheong was officially the 1000th graduate and was presented with a small gift from the University by the Chancellor to mark the mile-stone.
