Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to the individual or group responsible for submitting the video and/or the online entry form.

By submitting a video for entry into Australian Catholic Universitys (ACU National) cueACU student video competition, you signify your agreement to these terms and conditions.

By submitting a video for entry into Australian Catholic Universitys (ACU National) cueACU student video competition, you signify your agreement to these terms and conditions.
As the person or group responsible for submitting the video:
- You affirm, represent, and/or warrant that all materials (including, but not limited to music, footage and images) are your own, or that you have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorise ACU National to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to your submission in a manner that the University sees fit.
- You grant to ACU National a perpetual, royalty free license to use your materials to the extent contained in the recording, and to use any other materials you have prepared and submitted to accompany the recordings. The recording and materials contained therein are part of a collective work, and you acknowledge and agree that the copyright to the collective work shall be owned by ACU National.
- You understand that some uses of the recordings, such as broadcast or streaming uses, may require permission from the copyright holder.
- You agree that your submission does not infringe any copyrights or other rights of others, and will contain nothing defamatory or obscene.
- You affirm that you have obtained permission from all individuals appearing in the video, with the understanding that ACU National may publish, distribute and use the footage of them in any manner it sees fit.
- You accept full liability should your submission breach the representations you are making in your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- You acknowledge that you will not be compensated for any uses made of the recordings, and that ACU National owns all rights to these recordings. However, except for the permissions you are granting here, you retain all rights you may otherwise hold in copyrighted materials included in your video.
- In submitting the video and entry form, you waive all rights and release ACU National (including its officials, employees, representatives, agents, licensees, successors, and assigns) from, and shall neither sue nor bring any proceeding against any such parties for, any claim or cause of action, whether now known or unknown, for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, or based upon or relating to the use and exploitation of the recordings.
