Do
- Be as creative as you like, use film footage/graphics/images/animation - whatever you want
- save your video in .WMV, .AVI, .MPEG or .MOV format (4:3 and 16:9 are both acceptable) and submit both online and on a data disc
- enter as an individual or a group of two to five
- address as many themes as you want
- create a video specific to the ACU National student experience
- get friends and family to rate your video
- submit your entry sooner rather than later (you’ll get more votes)
- make sure anyone featured in your video is happy to be on the internet
- read and accept the terms and conditions before submitting your entry

Don’t
- Exceed the five minute time limit
- try to upload anything larger than 200MB
- submit your video in DVD format (you may submit it as a data file on a DVD in one of the formats listed above)
- submit anything that you don’t want to appear on YouTube or the University’s website
- disrespect the privacy rights of others
- make anyone look bad (it’s called defamation, and its illegal)
- use copyrighted material without expressed permission from the copyright owner (that includes music, images or footage)
- submit anything after the deadline (4pm, Friday, 2 April).
Do we even have to say it?
Videos featuring profanity, violence, defamatory statements, nudity or other offensive material will be disregarded. Keep it G-Rated.
