Accommodation Assistance
What is Available?
With the exception of its Ballarat Campus, ACU National does not provide on campus residential accommodation for students. Students do have a number of alternative options, including private accommodation or living with a host family. ACU does provide its students with assistance in finding suitable residential accommodation. Through its Student Centres ACU students can obtain accommodation brochures and “face to face” assistance and there is also an easy to use online listing service as well as useful online information and links to other accommodation services.
How to find Accommodation Online
ACU National’s Student Services has established an online Accommodation Listings Service that enables you to find suitable accommodation. Once you agree to the conditions on which the information is provided you can look for suitable accommodation.
The information can be displayed by
- Date of listing,
- Weekly cost,
- Type of accommodation,
- Even the suburb in which it is located.
Results can be shown in a list or in a map showing the location relative to the university.

Ballarat Campus
Ballarat Campus offers Camillus Residence, a modern complex of four, five and seven bedroom self-contained houses (78 places) where residents prepare their own meals. Accommodation for 2009 will be $4,300 for the 40 week academic year, being $2,150 per Semester or $430.00 a month (10 months from February to November). In addition to this there is also a $430 refundable security fee/bond.
