Spend a semester overseas and gain credit towards your ACU degree! We have over 80 university exchange partners around the world for you to choose from, so start exploring.

Current ACU students can learn more about the process for going on exchange by visiting the Student Portal.

Can I go abroad with my degree?

Discuss your wish for an overseas adventure early with your course coordinator. Most students will have the opportunity to study abroad for semester, but there may be some restrictions. These depend on your course and its units, as well as accreditation and placement requirements.

Students in these study areas can do a full semester exchange:

  • Arts
  • Business
  • Theology
  • Philosophy

If you’re enrolled in the following study areas, there will be some restrictions on what units you can study overseas depending on accreditation and placement requirements:

  • Education
  • Nursing, Psychology, Nutrition and Biological Science, and Exercise Science
  • Law

If you plan to study any other degree in the Faculty of Health Sciences, a semester exchange is unfortunately not possible. There aren’t enough units available in these courses for you to study abroad for a full semester.

Full semester not for you? You may also wish to consider one of the many overseas study tours and short program options available.
