Costs and financial support
While on a traditional exchange program with one of our partner universities, you do not pay tuition to the host university, but you will be responsible for other associated costs and fees, such as:
- Accommodation and living expenses
- Health and travel insurance
- Language courses
- Student activity fees
We recommend that you start saving early and budget for between $1,500-$2,000 for each month of your overseas program.
To assist you with your costs, there are some funding opportunities available:
|ACU Vice Chancellor's Travel Grant|
The Vice Chancellor has made available funds to assist students with the associated costs of undertaking study/and or activities overseas.
Featured Partner Scholarship: ACU students undertaking an approved exchange semester program to Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Finland) in 2016 are eligible to receive an additional $1,000 travel grant.
OS-HELP provides financial assistance to eligible Commonwealth supported students to undertake part of their course of study overseas. Please read the ACU OS-HELP Guidelines (PDF 84.7 KB) for eligibility information and how to apply.
