Georgia College & State University began as a women’s education centre in 1889 and was granted the authority to confer degrees in 1917. Georgia College has around 7000 students and is best known for its Flannery O’Conner Collection, and for its courses in Music and Art Therapy and Creative Writing.

Semester dates

  • ACU Semester 1: early January to early May
  • ACU Semester 2: mid August to early December


ACU students can take subjects from all 4 Colleges:

  • Business (there is limited availability for some business units)
  • Education
  • Health Sciences

A full-time student load is 12-18 US credit hours which is equivalent to a full-time ACU semester load (40cps).
