Academic Staff Promotion
Promoting yourself as an academic has been identified as a priority area for academic staff development. This area focuses on processes leading to submission of a successful promotion application, including both the career development path preceding the application and the effective communication of this career development in the application itself.
The staff development strategies include -
- publication of a selected sample of successful promotion applications on the inet to provide examples of profiles and styles of presentation.
- seminars focusing on preparing for promotion and preparing an effective application.
Access to the sample applications and details of membership of the Promotions Committees, is provided below. To access promotion policies and application forms please click on the link http://www.acu.edu.au/289985.
Any enquiries about policy and application forms should be directed to Brett White. Any enquiries about the Promoting yourself as an academic program should be directed to the Learning and Teaching Centre.
