“Travelling to Shanghai to personally accept the award has also opened up new opportunities such as expanding my network of professional and government representatives in China and Queensland.

“I feel the award is as much for Brisbane as it is for me because the local community, lifestyle and world-class education institutions have made my Ambassador role so interesting and worthwhile.”

Helen is one of the highest achievers within the Bachelor of Nursing course at ACU, achieving a grade point average of 6/7.

Now in her final year of study, Helen plans to continue to work with Brisbane Marketing, focusing on activities specifically in China.
