VicHealth Innovation Research Grant and VicHealth NHMRC Partnership Projects Grant now open

Expression of Interest applications for both the VicHealth Innovation Research Grant and the VicHealth NHMRC Partnership Projects Grant are now open and will close at 3pm on Thursday 1 October.
VicHealth NHMRC Partnership Projects Grant
VicHealth is calling for applications to partner on NHMRC Partnership Projects Grants.
Applicants who are successful with VicHealth will go on to apply to the NHMRC in Round 1 2016.
Funding from VicHealth for this round will be for three years and will commence in the 2017/2018 financial year.
These grants are for Victorian organisations planning to apply to the NHMRC for a Partnerships for Better Health - Partnership Project Grant who wish to have VicHealth nominated as an industry partner on their application.
VicHealth is interested in being an industry partner with projects that focus on health promotion and public health research and development, and that support the implementation of the VicHealth Action Agenda for Health Promotion.

VicHealth Innovation Research Grant
VicHealth is calling for applications to undertake a two-year research project relating to the strategic imperatives outlined in the VicHealth Action Agenda for Health Promotion and the research priorities outlined in the VicHealth Innovation Research Grant Guideline. Innovation Grants provide an opportunity for research teams to trial an innovative idea, research a new concept or methodology, or to develop better supporting evidence relevant to the theory, policy and practice of health promotion.
The maximum funding available is $200,000 over two years, two (2) projects will be funded in this round.
Funding and projects are expected to commence in early to mid-2016.
