Thomas More Law School triumphs at intervarsity competition

Students from ACU's Thomas More Law School recently competed in an intervarsity competition with RMIT.
ACU’s Thomas More Law School (TMLS) was well represented at the recent RMIT College of Law Client Interview Competition, with ACU students scoring both first and second place.
TMLS student Nicholas Tsekouras won the intervarsity competition, with a score of 84/100, while fellow ACU law student Mardi Grivas came a very close second, with a total score of 83.5/100.
The competition tests students' ability to build a rapport with a client, uncover the key aspects of the client’s issue and provide the client with potential legal options that could be pursued.
The pair was amongst six ACU students and 12 RMIT students who competed in the competition on 18, 19 and 21 April 2017.
Dean of the Thomas More Law School, Professor Rocque Reynolds commended the students on their success.
“I congratulate Nicholas, Mardi and all of the ACU competitors on their success at the RMIT College of Law Client Interview Competition,” Professor Reynolds said.
“This is a great accomplishment for both the students and for the Thomas More Law School.”
The TMLS and the St. Patrick’s Law Students’ Society would like to thank Cassandra Delcielo, a fellow ACU law student and the Director of Competitions, for organising this amazing opportunity and continuing to build a strong relationship between ACU and RMIT.
