Australian Catholic University (ACU) in collaboration with Mater Health Services is seeking a committed and progressive nursing professional to provide academic leadership in scholarship and research in neonatal nursing.
In this partnering role, you will foster effective relationships between Mater Health Services and the University to initiate and conduct leading-edge research, which is nationally and internationally competitive and of demonstrable value to the research profile of each organisation.
You will encourage a research culture that supports and enhances the capabilities of clinicians, academics and research students and work to proactively attract research and consultancy funds to expand new and significant projects and programs. As part of this role you will also be required to provide clinical neonatal nursing services to Mater Health Services.
To be considered for this role you will have a significant academic profile and capability in higher education including research leadership, teaching and learning in neonatal care, coupled with a high level of credibility in clinical and neonatal care research.
As a skilled communicator, you will have proven ability to build and maintain cooperative internal and external relationships and the capacity to innovate and provide leadership in the examination of current trends and evidence-based practice in neonatal care.
